★ My devices, personal link & history

Healthcare professionals sometimes need to move large files such as imaging studies, research datasets, recorded lectures or teaching materials between devices. Sendryo sends files directly from one browser to another with end-to-end encryption and does not store files on its servers. However, Sendryo is not certified for HIPAA or similar regulations and does not sign business associate agreements. If you handle patient information, you must follow your organization's compliance rules and use only approved systems for protected health information.

      The problems we solve

      • Imaging studies and research datasets are too large for email
      • Moving teaching materials between hospital and personal devices is awkward
      • Compliance rules restrict which services can handle patient data

How doctors and healthcare teams use Sendryo

      Share de-identified teaching cases

For conference talks or teaching, export de-identified images, confirm identifiers are removed according to your institution's process, and send them to your laptop with Sendryo. Strip photo metadata with /tools/remove-exif/ as an extra step for clinical photos used in teaching, where policy allows.

Move a recorded lecture or presentation

Send a long lecture recording or a large slide deck from your work computer to a presentation laptop with the six-digit code. The file arrives at full quality, without using a shared drive or emailing compressed versions. Keep both devices on until it finishes.

      Exchange research data with collaborators

For research datasets that your ethics approval permits sharing, encrypt the archive with /tools/encrypt-file/ and send it with a transfer password. Verify integrity using /tools/checksum/. Always follow your data sharing agreement and institutional rules. Matching hashes confirm the dataset arrived complete and unchanged.

      Files you’ll send most

      Why it fits your work

      • Original quality — nothing is compressed or altered.
      • Private — files go device‑to‑device and are never stored on our servers.
      • No accounts — your clients and colleagues don’t need to sign up for anything.
      • Any device — iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, iPad, Linux, Chromebook.

      Frequently asked questions

      Is Sendryo HIPAA compliant?

Sendryo does not claim HIPAA certification or compliance and does not sign business associate agreements. It encrypts transfers end to end and does not store files on its servers, but that alone does not make it an approved system. Follow your organization's compliance rules before sending any patient information.

      Can I send DICOM files?

Yes, Sendryo sends any file type without altering it, including DICOM files and folders. Whether you are allowed to send a particular study depends on your organization's policies and the data it contains. Use de-identified data where possible and only approved channels for patient information.

Will it work on a hospital network?

Hospital networks often have strict firewalls that block peer-to-peer connections, so Sendryo may not work there. Do not try to bypass network restrictions. Speak to your IT department about approved ways to move large files within your organization. Approved internal tools exist for this.
