Game builds and asset libraries are huge, and indie teams often do not have a build distribution pipeline for every playtest. Sendryo lets you send a packaged build, a folder of textures or a set of 3D models directly to a tester, artist or composer while you are both online. There is no size limit from us and no upload step, so a multi-gigabyte build can start arriving immediately. Files are never altered, which avoids mystery corruption in packaged builds and asset bundles.
The problems we solve
- Multi-gigabyte builds take ages to upload before a tester can start
- Free transfer services cap size, forcing builds to be split into parts
- Sharing unreleased builds on public links risks leaks
How game developers use Sendryo
Send a playtest build
Zip your packaged build or add the build folder, set a password, and send the link to your playtester. They receive it directly at full size. Turn on approve-each-receiver so a forwarded code cannot be used by someone you did not invite.
Exchange assets with an artist
Artists can send FBX, OBJ or texture folders straight to your machine with Sendryo, keeping folder structure for import. Once connected, you can send feedback screenshots or an updated reference pack back in the same session. Nobody needs a shared drive login or project server account for this.
Push an Android build to test devices
Send your APK to several test phones at once. Each device scans the QR code and receives the build, ready to install. This is handy for quick checks on different screen sizes before you push to a formal testing track.

Frequently asked questions
Can testers download a build later?
Not with Sendryo, because files are never stored. Both of you must be online with the page open until the transfer finishes. For asynchronous testing, a platform build channel or cloud storage link is the better choice. Sendryo works best for live, scheduled handoffs.
How do I make sure a build is not corrupted?
Sendryo sends files byte for byte, but you can confirm by comparing SHA-256 hashes. Generate one with /tools/checksum/ before sending, share it with the tester, and they check it after download. Matching hashes mean the build is identical. It only takes a moment.
Does it work for console or PC game files?
Sendryo sends any file type, so PC builds, mod packs, save files and asset bundles all work. Whether you can share a particular game's files depends on its license and the platform's rules. Only share builds and content you have the right to distribute.
